Custom Business Web Applications – References

These are references from my portfolio — web applications built for specific companies, around the way they work: booking records for a car rental agency, scheduling fitting appointments with mirror reservations, and a platform through which sales representatives order goods for their customers. None of them is a ready-made program to download; each is a solution built for one client. All of them were built on the TsatsaTayka platform, as part of my web development and database development services.

Rent-a-Car Software (Web)

Built in the first quarter of 2025 and expanded in the second quarter of 2025.

Rent-a-car web application that automates reservations

Problem

A car rental agency needed to digitize the whole rental process: reduce data entry errors, see at any moment which vehicles are free on which days, and be certain that reservations could not overlap. The system had to work on every device and with several users at the same time.

Solution

A web application was built for managing reservations, customers and the vehicle fleet, with a fast interface that is used like Excel:

  • occupancy overview of each vehicle by day — free, partly booked or fully booked;
  • automatic availability check: the user gets a clear message when trying to book a vehicle that is already taken;
  • customer records with documents and driving licences;
  • price and currency per reservation, with support for several currencies (RSD, EUR, USD, AUD…);
  • pick-up and return locations for vehicles, such as delivery or airport;
  • advanced filters for searching reservations quickly;
  • editing data in the table in real time, with column editors.

Technologies used

Result

The whole job — from planning and development, through testing, to going live — was completed in 60 days, in line with the requirements and deadlines agreed in advance. The agency keeps its reservations in one system, with a clear overview of free vehicles and no overlaps.

Wedding Dress Fitting Scheduling Application

Built in the fourth quarter of 2023 and expanded in the third quarter of 2024.

Problem

A bridal salon kept its fitting appointments by hand. The client and staff needed a database for entering scheduled appointments, with the option to reserve different mirrors and keep records of their customers, and customers were to be able to book appointments themselves through the public website.

Solution

An application for scheduling fitting appointments was built:

  • customer records: first name, last name, phone, email, wedding date and comments;
  • appointment scheduling with mirror reservations, including time, status and filters;
  • several mirrors for one appointment, when needed;
  • receiving bookings: a booking is written to the appointments, with the option of accepting it before it is added to the customer records;
  • booking on the public website: a page on the client's website where customers book appointments themselves.

Technologies used

Result

Fitting appointments and mirror reservations are kept in one system, and customers also book on their own through the website — instead of everything being done by hand, as the client himself says.

Platform for Ordering Goods from the Meat Industry

Built in the fourth quarter of 2022 and expanded in the third quarter of 2023.

Problem

Sales representatives needed a web platform through which they could quickly and securely order meat products for various restaurants and customers, with a secure login and a simple interface, so that both the representative and the system owner know right away what was ordered.

Solution

A functional and secure ordering web platform was built:

  • secure login for sales representatives;
  • customer list for whom the representative orders goods;
  • ordering for the next day or another day, as chosen;
  • email notifications: customized messages go to the representative and the system owner.

Technologies used

Result

Sales representatives order goods for their customers from one platform, and every order also reaches the system owner immediately.
